Destinyy Nicole was born into a world where creativity thrived. With her father a singer and her mother a professional dancer, stepping into the spotlight felt almost inevitable. Music was in her blood, but it was the powerhouse influence of artists like Whitney Houston that truly lit her fire. “Hearing Whitney made me want to get on stage,” Destinyy recalls. “That was a defining moment in my life.”
Breaking into the music industry is no small feat. It takes persistence, vision, and a relentless drive to carve out your own sound and space. Destinyy has embraced the challenge wholeheartedly, investing her time, resources, and energy into building a career she deeply believes in. For her, sharing music isn’t just about ambition—it’s about purpose.

But with independence comes pressure. Destinyy is candid about the mental and emotional toll the journey can take. To stay grounded, she prioritizes wellness. “I try to take weekly or bi-weekly breaks by checking in with my friends, family, and therapist,” she says. “It’s always work, work, work—but I need those moments with loved ones to balance and keep myself centered.”
Her latest single, “Waste My Time”, is out now, alongside her sophomore EP Just the Beginning—a project that represents growth, resilience, and a glimpse of what’s still to come.
Her message to fans is simple but powerful:“Be kind to yourself the way you’re kind to others. Be patient with yourself as you are with others. And love yourself just as much as you try to love the next person.”
