Good will Come From Tony Newbury

Lots of good comes from New Jersey native Tony Newbury, a down-to-earth, laid-back, and very intelligent rapper whose energy is calming and constantly spreading positivity. Born in Howell, New Jersey, Newbury’s childhood was full of music, and he began producing at 16. Today, Newbury is also a therapeutic arts mentor, working with kids and young adults in the studio to teach them how he makes beats.
Recently, Newbury released his track Good Will Come on September 2, 2024. The song touches on various topics, including the changes we go through in life, including his own. “Change can be really overwhelming, especially change that involves growth,” he says. The song almost serves as an affirmation for him, as he admits that he often listens to his own music to stay motivated. There’s a reason why he says he’s his own favorite artist, and we don’t blame him! His music is honest, authentic, and vulnerable. “I’m not where I wanna be, but I’m in a great place,” he shares.
Tony also lives by the motto, “Just keep going,” a phrase coined by his mom that he has adopted and applies to his daily life. “There have been so many times where I wanted to stop or just quit, but every time, something happens, and I get through it. One day, I would like to be the proof of what happens when you just keep going,” he reflects.
Self-care is an essential part of Newbury’s life, and he has openly shared his coping mechanisms. “I try to talk about everything. I try talking to my parents, siblings, meditating, working out. Finding a system that works is very important,” he explains. When asked what advice he would give to listeners or even his younger self, he said, “Don’t let these people change you. Don’t let them mold you. Listen to your intuition. Every answer lies within our intuition.”
With all this said, Tony Newbury is an artist worth listening to. Despite the challenges he has faced, his passion and love for music have never been tainted, making him unstoppable.
