Islanders, it’s been a long, wild ride—but we’ve officially made it to the end of Love Island Season 7. What began as a show that’s been around for years suddenly exploded—almost overnight—into the most talked-about thing in America. If there’s one thing Americans are always going to show up for, it’s love... and a little drama.
Through every emotional rollercoaster and jaw-dropping moment, we stuck it out and made it to the moment that had everyone on the edge of their seats: the finale.

Taking home the $100K grand prize (and choosing to split it) were none other than Amaya & Bryan. America’s sweetheart—who started the show struggling to form real connections—didn’t just win the hearts of fans, but also of Bryan and his entire family. The couple announced post-win that they’ll be donating a percentage of their winnings to charity, with a focus on mental health awareness. Bryan opened up, briefly but sincerely, about his own struggles with mental health during his youth. While he didn’t dive too deep, the authenticity in his commitment to give back was palpable.
The final four couples were:
Huda & Chris
Iris & Pepe (Still wondering how they made it to the finale. Personally, I think Ace & Chelly deserved that spot over Iris & Pepe.)
Olandria & Nick
Amaya & Bryan
An opinion no one asked for—but I’m giving anyway: Chelly and Ace honestly embodied the Love Island experience. They came in open to connection, put their relationship to the test, and continuously worked to reassure and grow with each other. On the flip side, while Pepe and Iris had a connection, it felt more like a strategic friendship than a genuine relationship. They bounced from partner to partner, giving “we’ll do what we can to win” energy rather than “we’re in this together.”

Now let’s talk PR—because the promo for this season? Phenomenal. Each contestant had catchphrases that went viral, setting the stage for personal branding success once they returned to the real world. From brand deals and interviews to partnerships and influencer campaigns, the Love Island cast didn’t just find love—they found fame. The consistent stream of daily social content gave fans a deeper look at life on the island and built major anticipation for every episode.
Some standout post-show wins:
Our Latina queen Amaya already landed a drink collab with Poppi for an “Amya Papaya” flavor.
Huda & Nick’s hilarious convo has gone viral and is now...a whole song: “Mommy, Mamacita.”
And of course, the line that stole everyone's heart: “God forbid I’m a sensitive gangster.” —Amaya Papaya, forever iconic.
It’s truly powerful to see a Hispanic couple take the crown this season. It’s a refreshing reminder of the importance of representation—and how beautiful it is to see Hispanic culture celebrated in a positive, mainstream spotlight.
Now that the islanders are back home, the tea is piping hot—and I, for one, can’t wait to see what’s next.
