"Let's Gooo" MO DUBB, the Heart and Talent

Updated: May 19

I had the pleasure of meeting the talented music artist Mo Dubb a few years ago through Airs Entertainment. From working together for events like Photoganza, Pass the Aux, music performances, and more, I was able to watch him grow not just as a creative but as a performer. His captivating performance at Fight Klub studio, prior to their closing, was where I knew Mo Dubb was destined for greatness. The crowd was energized in a way I had not seen; it was a genuine group of supporters singing along to his music. You could feel the energy in the room from the moment Mo Dubb was announced until he left. Since then, every performance Mo Dubb has done has remained at 100% energy, never disappointing his audience.

The artist has a humble yet confident personality that allows him to build unique connections with his fans. Mo Dubb doesn't want to only focus on his music, as he is an overall creative and can see himself expanding to new heights, even taking on roles in movies and shows as an actor. With the multitude of skits he's shared on social media, I'm eager to see the characters he'll bring to life on the big screen and how he'll integrate his music into the entertainment industry.

His popular tagline “lets gooo” is making its stamp across the music industry. Can you hear someone say “lets goo” and not think about Mo Dubb?

His recent video was for his song “Same Heart,” which was featured as episode 35 for the Tapped in Session presented by High Life Media. The background perfectly complemented the aesthetic of the song, and Mo Dubb captivated the audience the entire time with simplicity. It was even featured on Power 105.1 radio, where fans shared their experiences of hearing him on the radio with nothing but excitement.

However, radio plays are not new for the artist, as he was also featured on Hot 97.1 radio before. The Brooklyn artist has performed all over NY and has had featured songs with popular music artists like Kocky Ka on “What it is,” Cruch Calhoun on “Like It,” and many more.

I thought it was interesting when talking to Mo Dubb that he brought up the lack of genuineness in the music industry especially when an artist is starting out. It is disappointing that many music artists have to go through negative experiences and a competitive atmosphere opposed to elevating each other. He said if he had the opportunity to speak with his youngerself when he was just getting started in music, he would advise to move with caution. "Unfortunately not everyone will have the same heart as you." - Mo Dubb

Despite some negative experiences, Mo Dubb has never changed his heart and has remained authentic. He stays true to his beliefs, morals, and community. Watching him in the studio showed his true artistry as he got involved in the producing and engineering aspects of music production, truly understanding the process and his craft. It is only a matter of time before everyone knows the music artist Mo Dubb.

His commitment to his beliefs, morals, and community is unwavering. He's just one breakthrough song away from mainstream recognition. Witnessing his involvement in every aspect of music production, from producing to engineering, underscores his true artistry.
