When you think of a music producer, you probably imagine someone locked in the studio, surrounded by cables and screens, tweaking sounds until sunrise. But Sixty is rewriting that image — live, on stream, and in real time. Known for his quick ear, sharp creativity, and laid-back humor, Sixty isn’t just building beats; he’s building a community that gets to see the person behind the music.
“I want to show the world a different side of producers,” he told me. “I don’t want to just be labeled as a producer — I want people to know me as Sixty, the dude that could be chill, funny, and entertaining… who just happens to also make great music.”

That approach is exactly what birthed his streaming series, “60 w/ Sixty.” However, what many might not know is that the original idea looked completely different.
“It started as 60 Seconds w/ Sixty about 2–3 years ago,” he shared. “Artists would have only 60 seconds to freestyle to one of my beats. But once I started streaming, I flipped the idea — now it’s 60 minutes instead of 60 seconds.”
The new version gives fans and artists a front-row seat to the full creative process — from making the beat to vibing out in real time — all while capturing the energy and personality of everyone involved. It’s raw, relatable, and real, which is exactly what makes it work.
The Meaning Behind the Name
If you’ve ever wondered why people call him “Sixty,” the story is just as unique as his sound.“One thing I tell people is that my name gets a new meaning every day,” he laughed. “But the main idea has to do with time. I work fast — like, really fast. People are always shocked at how quick I can make a beat. I joke that I can do it in 60 seconds… and sometimes, I actually can.”
Efficiency meets creativity — that’s Sixty’s sweet spot.

Adapting in the Age of AI
When it comes to technology, Sixty’s mindset is all about adapting. “AI isn’t going anywhere,” he said. “I get why people get frustrated, but if you see it as competition instead of a tool, you’ll get left behind. Just don’t let it do all the work. Let it assist you — it might even help you come up with an idea that would’ve taken ten times longer on your own.”
That forward-thinking perspective is exactly what’s helping artists like him stay ahead of the curve while still keeping their creativity authentic.
Dream Guests, Dream Collabs
When asked who his dream guest would be on 60 w/ Sixty, Sixty didn’t hesitate.“Plaqueboymax, for sure. He’s one of the people that inspired me to start streaming in the first place. Having him on would bring everything full circle — the vibes, the jokes, the music — it would be crazy.”
If we’re talking dream collaborations? Sixty’s answer hit close to home.“Pop Smoke. 100%. He was my favorite artist at the time of his death, and I looked up to him a lot. We were the same age, from the same city — he made me realize that if I put in the work, I could make it too and put on for my city.”

Starting from Scratch — Literally
For anyone trying to break into music or streaming, Sixty keeps it real: “Even if you don’t feel fully prepared, just do it. My first beat and my first stream were both done on my phone. I didn’t have the best setup — I just had the dream and the drive. Everything gets better with time, but you have to start somewhere.”
It’s that type of mindset that defines Sixty — a mix of talent, humility, and hustle.
What’s Next for Sixty
While he’s keeping most of his upcoming projects under wraps, Sixty says there’s one thing fans should definitely keep an eye on: “60 w/ Sixty.” “I have a whole lot of plans I’m working on, but that’s the one I want people to focus on right now,” he said. “Everything else will come in due time — but I’m excited for everyone to see what’s next.”
Sixty isn’t just producing beats — he’s producing moments. Whether it’s through streaming, music, or content that makes people laugh, he’s creating a lane of his own — one that’s authentic, entertaining, and all about showing the real side of creativity.
